As many of you already know, one of the fastest growing clubs in Frisch over the last year has been RealSchool. What many do not know is that because of the rate at which it has grown, RealSchool is no longer what it used to be. Right now it is somewhere between fake and real. It might be more aptly called UnrealSchool.
Says one concerned senior: “Last year, we accomplished so much. This year we’ve just spent our time creating more and more offshoots of RealSchool. It’s just so hard to identify what the real club is actually doing.”
When asked for his opinion on the club, Mr. Tamburro responded with a warm grunt and insisted that we "tend to our parents' plantation" because "that cotton isn't gonna grow itself." Although he did seem to like the idea of students of all ages learning together; he said it reminded him of the "old schoolhouses with the meter rulers and the dunce cap. Man, the things you could get away with those days." Not my most productive teacher interview.
As a result of this downward trend, those active in the original RealSchool are looking to get back to what the club used to be all about: school that is real. The next step forward will be to create an offshoot of the club full of offshoots. Spearheaded by Mrs. T. Wiener, this one will be called Real RealSchool.
“In trying to keep up with the modern trend of changing the learning system,” said Mrs. T. Wiener, “I think it’s best we abandon the old program known as RealSchool and look to take some steps forward. Perhaps a newer--better yet realler--club will be more modern.”
This select group of RealSchool full-timers will work on . . . whatever RealSchool works on. Which might be nothing. Honestly, only that inner circle really knows. Whatever it is, I'm sure it will be worth missing fake-school classes for it.
